Many people will fall for these and, while there may be one or two genuine ones, on the whole they are scams. All they want is your money. Most will do nothing with our UDID but there will be a couple who will use it to gain access to your personal details.  How ?

While the UDID is supposed to be anonymous, purely to identify a specific device, it can be linked back to the owner of the device, potentially exposing your identity. And we all know what can happen when your identity is taken by a third-party.

  1. I was able to install ios 7 beta 4 on my ipad mini, and it actually works fine,BUT, I do miss my jailbreak tweaks and all. Only one thing I didn’t like is that the link for ipad 2 doesn’t work on all like it says, mine is A1395 and the download doesn’t work for that model. Maybe they could put the model numbers like they did with the mini. I don’t know if there is a download for this model number at all, I tried torrents download, they don’t work.

  2. Hi I have an iPhone 4 GSM (A1332) and I have a tethered jailbreak installed through rensn0w.

I tried to upgrade to iOS 7 beta 4 through iTunes (using the ipsw for iPhone 4) but got a “The firmware is not compatible” message.

What is the solution to this?
