iOS 10.3 Jailbreak

Apple is continuing with their rapid release cycle; just a short time after iOS 10.2.1 was released, iOS 10.3 download [ext link] has now appeared in beta format. Right now, the only people who can get their hands on the new beta, reportedly packed with several useful features, are those with a registered developers account. Although it is likely to be placed in the public beta program soon, if you can’t wait there is one other way to get it.

When Can We Jailbreak iOS 10.3 ?

Right now, because iOS 10.3 is in beta, there is no jailbreak for it. However, it isn’t all bad news because if you don’t need to update to check out the beta firmware, you can still jailbreak your iPhone or iPad. Luca Todesco, the Italian developer who is fond of revealing jailbreaks but not releasing them, has come through for jailbreakers everywhere.

Despite telling us that iOS 10 was going to be hard to jailbreak, Todesco has given jailbreakers a new utility to install on their iOS 10 to iOS 10.2 devices. The jailbreak is called Yalu and you can download it now, following the guidance in the following links.

For those that never go around to updating to iOS 10 or those who can’t because of hardware restrictions, there is still the option of PPHelper jailbreak, released for iOS 9.2. The good news is, it has now been updated and includes support for up to iOS 9.3.5 and you can find the full details in the link below:

iOS 10.3 Release Date :

We don’t have any information on when there will be an iOS 10.3 jailbreak but it is likely to be PPHelper or Yalu that is updated to support the latest firmware releases. In the meantime, if you already have a jailbreak on your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch, do not update your device.  If you do decide to test out the beta for iOS 10.3, you will be able to downgrade again but you may not be able to install a jailbreak afterward , the choice is yours as to whether you take the risk or not.
