iOS 10 has been put for some time now and we have yet to see any sign of a public jailbreak for it. iOS 10.2 download [ext link] was recently released and now iOS 10.2.1 has gone into beta. This latest version is, by all accounts, nothing more than a bug fix so it won’t be too long before it is released and this is one of the reasons why we haven’t had a jailbreak , the constant flurry of updates coming from the Cupertino company.

Can we Jailbreak iOS 10.2.1 ?
Not yet, no. It has only just gone into beta and the jailbreak teams will need time to determine if there are any vulnerabilities that can be exploited. We have seen proof that iOS 10 can be jailbroken, with several developers uploading proof of it but none of these jailbreaks are going to be made public. The main reason for that is, they were all on earlier beta versions of the firmware and it is almost certain that the vulnerabilities have been patched by now.

Second, the latest news from Luca Todesco is not too promising. Having examined iOS 10.2 whilst it was in beta, the developer has warned that it will be far more difficult to jailbreak than any previous iOS 10 version because Apple has stuffed it full of security updates that leave the jailbreak teams nothing to get their teeth into.
Apple said that they would be stepping up the fight against jailbreaking and it seems as if, this time, they have gained the upper hand. With their new Rootless technology in iOS 10 and their Bug Bounty Program, offering rich rewards to developers for finding vulnerabilities, they have net left much room for teams like Taig or Pangu to maneuver.
The latest jailbreak remains PPHelper for iOS 9.2 to iOS 9.3.3 and this is only a semi-untethered jailbreak, the first of its kind for some time. However, for those that are using it, Luca Todesco has just made life easier for you with the release of a new tool based on JailbreakMe. The tool automatically reactivates PPHelper for you, saving you the hassle of having to reload it every time. You can find full instructions here on how to download and use the tool
