Fix iOS 7 Connect to iTunes Recovery Mode

Solution – How to Fix Connect to iTunes Error

The fix is simple . All you have to do is get the latest version of iTunes from Apple Store and repeat the process as explained below .

  1. Download iTunes 11.0.4.4 or above version from Apple.com (link).
  2. Install iTunes on your computer and restart your computer for the new changes to take place . After restarting , follow steps 3 to Step 5 for sucesssful installation of your iOS firmware that can fix the “iTunes on Recovery Mode” error screen on iOS 7 firmware .itunes 11.0.4.4 download iOS 7
  3. After restart launch iTunes and connect your device . It will show your device in Recovery Mode. Click on the Restore device icon while holding the SHIFT key on your windows keyboard . Mac users will have to press Option key .itunes recovery mode
  4. Browse to the iOS 7 ipsw file and select.
  5. iTunes will now verify the ipsw file and install it on your device .

Next Step :

Since you are still on iOS 7 beta , you need to activate the phone. Non-Developers would come up with an issue of Activation Error . To fix this issue you must get your device registered with Apple developer Centre or get someone to add your device udid to a developers account for a fees. Read more about Fixing Activation Error .

    THIS HAPPENED TO ME AND I RESET MY IPHONE LOSING EVERYTHING IM SOOOOOOO PISSED OFF.

    I CANT EVEN RESTORE THE BACK UP TO MY PHONE BECAUSE IT SAYS THE SOFTWARE IS TOO OLD AFTER RESTORING. WTFF IM ON 6.1.4 NOW AND I WAS ON IOS7 BETA 4

    CAN SOMEBODY HELP ME?! IM LITERALLY BUGGING OUT

        Hi dude *PHEW*!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

        Luckily i was surfing the web and found another version of ios7 downloaded it…..

        and BANG -- itunes automatically detected the last backup i made!

        -- restored it.
        and

        PHEWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!

        i lost about 2 weeks worth of new content (pics etc) on my iphone but i guess thats the price you pay!

        NOT COMPLAINING THO!

    thank you for your assistance guys , got my phone fixed which was having this same issue after iOS 7 download and installation . Got my iPhone 5 UDID registered from you for $10 . Now i can even get iOS 8 beta next year without any problem . 1 year UDID activation for 10 bucks is cool . Cant afford to pay $99 annual fees .

    Ugh! My iPhone 4! I did the IOS7 update and it totally screwed me! All it shows is the iTunes app icon with a plug in sign! I plugged it in and it said something about a error can not be reached! My mom tried to fix it while I was at school! I can’t do anything on it! I don’t know what to do!! Help?!

    Just another Blue screen of death, Happened to me on 7.0.4. Upgrade and last backup was ages ago, guess I will purchasing more storage. I think I was saved content-wise due to having an iPad as well and mostly synching. Main thing seems to be Having lost all of the customization, messages and phone favorites. Dreading going thru and trying to remember all the settings and set ups.
